Light Filled Contemporary Home

Clear Pine is a 20-acre neighborhood reminiscent of a scaled-down version of Bend’s Northwest Crossing but with the key amenities being its walkability and proximity to miles of hiking trails in the National Forest (to the west, along Pine Street), a neighborhood park, nearby coffee shops, and quick access to downtown Sisters.

Clear Pine was once home to the Lundgren Lumber Mill. The name “Clear Pine” refers to the knot-free “clear” pine lumber milled on this site until the 1960s. Our designer took queues from this home site’s history while working to incorporate the nature theme of wood tones, stone, sunlight, and natural materials to complement our homeowner’s natural and healthy living lifestyle.

This single-level, mid-century modern style home is 1375 square feet and features an open floor plan, providing a great room feel as the living room flows into the dining room and kitchen under vaulted ceilings with abundant natural light. Custom touches throughout include a contemporary Jotul fireplace, custom cabinetry in the kitchen and bathrooms, tile backsplash and showers, and luxurious finishes – this is large living in a smaller footprint.
